Spring Cottages – Cheddar self-catering

Our self catering accommodation consists of  one two bedroom, two bathroom cottage, Cherry Tree cottage.

It has been converted from what the original barn was used for, when Spring Cottage  was a working farm, but now beautifully converted into one contained cottage, built of local stone, nestling on the South side of the beautiful Mendip Hills.

If you are looking for a relaxed holiday, with plenty to see and do, then Spring Cottages are just what you are looking for. We offer an individual cottage, fitted out with everything to make your holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We are 15 minutes walk from the spectacular Cheddar Gorge and Cheddar Caves and the same distance from the village center.

The cottage has comfortable beds,  a large double bed, and large single beds lovely Egyptian cotton sheets and duvets. The cottages are heated by night storage heaters, which had been upgraded in 2008 and heated towel rails in each bathroom.

There is a large south-facing garden which is enjoyed by all our guests, just a short walk down the drive. Here you will find the summer house for your use including comfortable reclining chairs,  sit and relax by the summer house or at the bottom of the garden, the views of the Mendip Hills, Crook Peak and Brent Knoll are spectacular. You can just sit and enjoy the sunshine – perfect for a glass of wine at the end of the day as the sun goes down.

Washing

Cherry Tree has a brand new kitchen which includes a washing machine. For your hand washing there is a spin dryer located in the walking room. It will spin the items almost dry to enable you to hang them on the outdoor line, or on the clothes dryer in your cottage. Pegs and a bucket are provided in your cottage.

We provide 1 set of clean linen & 1 set of bath towels for each week of your stay.
