Cherry Tree Cottage has been completely refurbished, all fully decorated, bespoke curtains & soft furnishings. We always wanted to be able to offer our cottage to families as well as couples. So, we decided to merge Cherry Tree and Honeysuckle in to one big cottage, offering two spacious bedrooms, one with a large King size bed and the other room, with two large twin singles in the other bedroom. Both of which still offer individual bathrooms & independent stairs. A brand new fully fitted kitchen & breakfast room leading through to a lovely welcoming & bright sitting room.
Upon entering the cottage through the half glazed door, you enter the kitchen/breakfast room which has a tiled floor, leading on to a carpeted area for the comfortable & spacious breakfast area. In the kitchen you have a fridge freezer, microwave oven, ceramic hob and double oven underneath, a new dishwasher & a washing machine, extremely handy for your stay, especially with children. There is a tumble dryer available too, plus a washing line in the garden.
In the breakfast/dining area, which now offers a large farmhouse table and chairs to seat 4 -6 people. There is also a pine sideboard as extra storage for food etc. A small colour digital TV sits in the nook which also plays DVD’s and CD’s. (so you can bring all your favourites with you).
From the breakfast room, stairs leads to the bedroom which features large twin-beds, lovely bright & crisp cotton sheets and duvets. A chest of drawers and a double wardrobe with shelf above. The en-suite has a bath and new electric shower over. Loo and a hand basin over a vanity unit. A heated towel rail and a wall mounted electric fan heater if required. We also have a full size cot & travel cot available for your use.
Back downstairs, walking through the kitchen & entering the sitting room, through a glass panelled door. This is a lovely bright room and offers a calm space to relax. A smart TV, which also plays CD’s & DVD’s. One large sofa, which could seat 4 & one armchair, a swivel loving seat, which easily seats two adults.
There is a large cupboard under the stairs for coats & shoes, an ironing board and iron are provided. We also provide a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning materials to keep your cottage fresh whilst you are staying with us.
From the sitting room, there is another staircase which leads to the master bedroom. Here you will find a large king size bed, comfortable mattress and bedding. A chest of drawers, dressing table & mirrors. A double wardrobe with shelf above. The en-suite has a bath and new electric shower over. Loo and a hand basin over a vanity unit. A heated towel rail and a wall mounted electric fan heater if required
Rewarded with lovely views from the bedroom windows, over the garden, looking towards Nyland, or over the fields one can see Cheddar reservoir, which is a great walk from the cottage.
